No. 10\/09<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zo\u00ef Environment Network (ZOI), Switzerland, in cooperation with the <strong>Regional Eastern European Fire Monitoring Center (REEFMC)<\/strong>, is implementing the training course <strong>\u201cfoRestore: Forest Restoration in Ukraine \u2013 From Assessing the Impacts of War to Sustainable Development.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme is designed for young professionals working in <strong>forestry, ecology and nature conservation<\/strong> and aims to prepare a new generation of specialists for the future restoration of Ukraine\u2019s forests affected by the war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme will be implemented throughout <strong>2026\u20132027<\/strong> through <strong>three training modules<\/strong>, with the participation of leading Ukrainian scientists and experts. The course is aligned with relevant international strategic frameworks and principles of sustainable forest management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Call for Support<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We kindly ask the <strong>State Agency of Forest Resources of Ukraine<\/strong> to support the dissemination of information about the training course among forestry enterprises and to inform young professionals in the forestry sector about the opportunity to participate in the programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Module 1: Forests of Ukraine in Wartime<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Monitoring and Assessing the Impact of Hostilities on Forest Ecosystems<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Registration for <strong>Module 1<\/strong> is open until <strong>4 September 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Module 1 is a <strong>professional development course equivalent to 3 ECTS credits<\/strong>.
