The storm caused damage to forest plantations in Hlynsk, Nedryhailiv, and Tomashiv forestry of the Romny forestry enterprise of Sumy OULMG. The most damage was recorded in the “Velyki Budky” and “Pai” tracts in Nedryhailiv region, as well as the “Vilne” tract in Romny region. According to preliminary data, the total area of damaged forest is up to 1.2 thousand hectares.

Experts from the state specialized forest protection enterprise “Kharkivlisozakhyst” are currently conducting inspections of forest plantations of state forestry enterprises that have been damaged as a result of this natural disaster.
